Running in a Tropical Paradise

Ryan and I were ambitious for this one. We woke up at 6:30, when it was still dark out, mind you. We wanted to watch the sunrise.

We left at 6:45 and started our 4.1 mile run across the Cortez Bridge.

This was our longest run yet, and our first run in warmer temperatures. We ran 2 miles to the end of the bridge and turned around and came 2 miles back. The water was beautiful.

I’m not a morning person, but it’s amazing how much a change of scenery inspires you to get up and be active before the sun even comes out for the day.

Our sleepy 7 AM faces.

This run took us 50 minutes. I have never been so sweaty in my life. But I was also sooo proud of us. It’s exciting realizing what you are capable of. Try it, you might be surprised. 🙂

With love, from Ryan & I, to you.
