BOOK REVIEW – The Secret Hours by Santa Montefiore

4.5/5 STARS

Our lives are but a blink on the eye of time. That’s why we have to seize the day.

If you were to ask me who my favorite author was I would tell you Santa Montefiore. I’ve always said Nicholas Sparks, but there’s something about how Montefiore’s writing captures you from the very first page and has you craving for more at the end of each book.

Every time I read one of her novels, I feel as if I’ve traveled to wherever she’s writing about. So it’s safe to say that I feel as if I’ve been to Ireland numerous times, and it’s beautiful.

This novel is the 4th book to the Deverill Chronicles Series. You do not HAVE to read the other 3 books to know what’s happening in this one. But they are all so good, why wouldn’t you want to?

The only reason I give this a 4.5 stars instead of 5, is because of the infidelity that takes place with the main character. Otherwise, it’s a wonderful novel that I could not put down.

Go grab your library card and get ready for a trip to Ireland (that you don’t even have to pack for!) you’re in for a juicy ride of drama and scandals at Castle Deverill!

With love, from me, to you.
