BoOk ReViEw – The Last Train to Key West by Chanel Cleeton

“You can live a fair share of adventures in other people’s stories.”

5/5 STARS ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I LOVED THIS. It was seriously so good. I was hooked from the first chapter.

This author is just amazing. If you haven’t read Next Year in Havana, you have to! That is another story by her that I loved.

This story is about 3 different women, all 3 being in the same area of Key West for some reason. All in different situations.

The story takes you through the Labor Day Hurricane of 1935 on Key West, which, if I’m honest, I didn’t know about! It was super interesting to learn about this devastating time for that part of our country.

It’s an interesting historical fiction that is super engaging, and, though it was interesting, entertaining, and I learned from it, it also wasn’t heavy like a lot of historical fiction can be.

It’s an easy read that you could take to the beach or vacation with you. 😉

Head to your local library, folks, and pick this one up!
