Our Shared Shelf – The Great Gatsby

Our Shared Shelf has finished our third novel, this one being The Great Gatsby.

I quite enjoyed this one. It was short and sweet, to the point, and maybe a little bit strange.

There was always a mystery about Gatsby, who he actually was, what he did. But in the end you realize he was just a lonely guy trying to get the unreachable Daisy Buchanan.

I had read this once before maybe a year ago, but I listened to it on audio. I was really glad to actually read it this time because I grasped the story so much more than I did before.

Have you read this novel? If so, what did you think? Leave a comment down below and let us know!

Read with us! Our Shared Shelf is now starting, In Cold Blood by Truman Capote.
